Looking forward to seeing OLD classmats. With my husband being a career Navy officer, we moved a total of 11 times. Both of our sons followed in his footsteps. However, our 2nd daughter went Air Force. We have 8 grandchildren, 5 of which live us.I had a long career as a nurse, finishing as a Diabetes educator. Unfortunatly I now have Alzheimers. But I am lucky to have a dear loving husband. |

After H.S. I enrolled at the U of M, but found I couldn't take studies seriously. Went to work for a Dental Supply Co., then transferred to Calif. after a couple years. Facing a promotion or returning to Mn., I opted to return home. However, couldn't stay long as I was drafted into the Army in '65. Spent military in Germany (luckily, instead of Vietnam). Honorably discharged in '67 as a Spec. 5. Re-enrolled at U of M and received an AA in business and math in '69. Worked thru years in several capacities, finishing career in a machining Quality Control position and spent last five years back at U of M in accounting at the student Health Clinic. Retired May of '07.Married seven years with a daughter (Stacey) born in '74. Second marriage to wonderful wife Beverly for past 31 years, an Administrative Assistant at U of M for 25 years. Daughter Stacey is a Northwestern Bible College alumna moving to Calif. after graduation to help start a new Church. Met and married husband Dr. Vinay Goyal, a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering, a Professor in his field at UCLA and an employee of Aerospace Engineering, an affiliate of NASA. My hobbies include travel, pastel and pencil drawings/portraits and bowling in winter, gardning/yard work and golf in summer with occasional volunteer help at U of M Raptor Center, mainly in rescue pick-up. Also, I am a volunteer marshal at the 3M Championship Golf Tournament at the Blaine TPC course and, reluctantly, the reason I will not be attending the reunion activities. It is the same weekend and I am unwilling to relinquish my marshaling duties. IF you should happen to go to the tourney, look me up. I'll be on the green at hole #2, this year and in the future. So, have a great reunion weekend. I wish I could be there, but, at the least, I am looking forward to reading all your bios in the Memory Book. |

I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I became a great-grandmother on Feb 23, 2012 to a beautiful baby girl Graci. I enrolled in college in 1996, graduated Cum Laude with a BSBA in 2000 from Cardinal Stritch University. My husband Jim passed away in January 1997. I worked for Control Data/General Dynamics for 27 years and I am still working full-time in a small office downtown St. Paul with no plans to retire. I am a big Elvis fan and went on an all Elvis cruise in January, it was fabulous and looking forward to the next one. I enjoy traveling and went on a trip to Germany with my granddaughter in March. |

Can’t remember the summer after our graduation from Central. Probably sold shoes at the Emporium every day and hung out at Martin’s Drive -In every night. Went to the U. of M. like so many of you. Graduated and joined an army reserve unit. Did my six months at Fort Bliss, Texas and Fort Knox, Kentucky. My reserve unit was never called up…. at least not while I was in it. I really was not enjoying corporate life. At the age of 52 I went back to school and studied to become a psychotherapist. Joined what became the second largest "not for profit" mental health/substance abuse treatment agency in the state of New York. We were operating eighteen facilities when I left. Did clinical work for about five years but found myself always pushing to increase revenue. I guess due to the business background. This was noticed. Ended up being the Assistant Agency Director. Continued to do some clinical work while staying another four years in this administrative position. A couple of years ago I decided it was time to slow down and go into private practice. Am still practicing part time. Jonci still works. She’s an executive at Eileen Fisher, Inc. Travels often to interesting places. I travel with her as often as I can. Life is good. Never perfect, but perfect enough. Am looking forward to seeing everyone at our reunion. |
